Defeat Fortain the Cursed Knight is a main story boss quest featuring a humanoid boss who fights with a spear and shield combination while accompanied by a ghost companion that attacks independently. The dual-threat nature of this fight requires managing two enemies simultaneously.

Focus on the ghost companion first, as its attacks can interrupt your combos against Fortain. Once the ghost is temporarily dispelled, Fortain becomes more aggressive but also more predictable. His spear thrusts have excellent range but narrow hitboxes that can be sidestepped. Parry his shield bash to create the largest counter-attack windows.
